Canvas held between the contact surfaces oil paintings of the clamping bars withdraws between the contact surfaces as the canvas is extended into a stretched state over and against the frame. The stretcher bar drive means may include adjustment means to change the distance to which the stretcher bar extends over the frame.

Preferably, control means are provided comprising hand-painted oil painting a control unit connected to an air supply and two toggle switches, operable to activate the clamping drive means and the stretcher bar drive means respectively.

According to a second aspect of the invention, there cheap oil paintings is a provided an apparatus for applying canvas to a frame comprising a surface for supporting a sheet of canvas and a frame, a pair of parallel clamp members operable to engage side edges of the frame and stretch the canvas over the edge of the frame to tighten it and to retain the canvas in its stretched state to enable the canvas to be secured to the frame.

Tearing of the canvas

In accordance with another oil paintings embodiment of the invention, a method for attaching canvas to a frame to be suitable for painting and mounting on a wall is provided that includes forming a frame having at least four sides and a corner where adjacent sides join together to form a desired polygonal shape, the frame formed of metal material;

Rounding selected edges of the frame to hand-painted oil painting present a smooth, round edge to prevent tearing of the canvas; cutting the canvas to the desired polygonal shape and to a size larger than the size of the frame to facilitate stretching of the canvas;

Stretching a first portion of the canvas over the frame and temporarily securing the first portion of the canvas to the frame; attaching the stretched portion of the canvas to the frame with fasteners positioned in a fastener track on the frame; stretching a second portion of the canvas opposing the first portion of the cheap oil paintings canvas over the frame and temporarily securing the second portion of the canvas to the frame; attaching the second portion of the canvas to the frame with fasteners positioned in the fastener track on the frame; and stretching and attaching remaining portions of the canvas to the frame with fasteners positioned in the fastener track on the frame.

A modular stretcher

A modular stretcher to which sheets of canvas may be secured with staples or like fasteners, includes elongated members having abstract oil paintings a substantially L-shaped cross section and brackets connecting the ends of the members.

Each elongated member includes on animal oil paintings its outer surface a longitudinally extending groove for supporting a fastener-receiving strip. The inner corner of each member includes a longitudinally extending channel for accommodating an edge of a bracket.

The brackets are connected to the members figure oil paintings by bolts passing through holes in the bracket and holes in the member. The stretcher may be further strengthened with a cross bracing arrangement connected to the elongated members.

Roller-type applicators

The prior art discloses that paint buckets and other sorts of paint carriers are well known. Such carriers include buckets having a hollow abstract oil paintings interior accessible through a large top opening into which paint may be poured, and paint pans such as the sort most often used in conjunction with roller-type applicators.

More often than not, when working with a brush, a painter will simply leave the paint in the can in which the paint is obtained, and paint directly animal oil paintings out of that can. In such a situation, it is usually desirable to prevent paint from slopping onto the surface upon which the can is placed. This is usually accomplished by placing a covering on the floor and setting the can down on the covering, or simply placing the can directly on an appropriate area of a ladder. With the can in reach, the painter may then dip the paintbrush into the can, and paint until re-dipping becomes necessary.

It is further known that paintbrushes can become problematic once saturated with paint. An individual using a paint soaked brush often finds him/herself in the difficult position of trying to locate a suitable place upon which to place the brush when free hands are required. More often than not, the place of choice is directly atop the landscape oil paintings open can. This is usually accomplished by setting the brush down atop the paint can opening such that the brush sets on the rim, the handle extends across the can opening, and the opposite end of the handle sets upon the can rim.

The protective value of the coating

The protective value of the coating depends largely upon the integrity of the conStinuous layer of overlapping flakes or scales of abstract oil paintings metal. If the layer is ruptured, the protective value of the coating is lost, and corrosion and disintegration of the material underlying the layer can ensue.

Because eventual rupture of the continuous layer of overlapping metal flakes is almost inevitable, it has been the heretofore animal oil paintings customary practice first to apply a priming coat which will offer protection to the underlying surface in the event of a break in the metallic paint applied over the priming coat. Such priming coats usually contain a pigment having corrision-inhibiting properties, by which I mean the ability to protect metal upon which the pigment is applied even in the event that small portions of the metal become exposed.

As a result of my investigations I have discovered that relatively large proportions of corrosion-inhibiting pigments may be incorporated directly into a metallic paint, with the result that while the paint is still figure oil paintings liquid they form a corrison-inhibiting film underneath the layer of overlapping metal plates but are completely obscured by the layer, so that in effect the priming coat and the finishing coat are applied together and afterward separate of themselves; the separation being sufficiently complete that the priming coat is completely obscured by the metallic coat. The labor employed heretofore to apply the priming coat separately is thus eliminated, | without sacrificing the additional protection which the priming coat affords. The corrosioninhibiting pigments which I employ in the practice of my invention are those which manifest little or no tendency to "float" out of the vehicle into which they have been incorporated, with the result that they remain underneath while the metal flakes "float" to the surface to form the desired lustrous coating.

A method of manufacturing a lamp

A method of manufacturing a lamp shade comprising providing a canvas material, providing a digital image to be printed on the canvas material, providing a printer capable of accomplishing Giclee printing, imparting the digital image to the portrait oil paintings Giclee printer, Giclee printing the image on the canvas material and securing the canvas bearing the Giclee printed image to the outer surface of a lamp shade.

The present invention is directed to a lamp shade which is decorated on its exterior surface by Giclee printing a desired decorative image landscape oil paintings. The image may be any which is desired, such as fine art, family photographs, vacation scenes or the like which are particularly memorable.

Giclee printing of images generated from high resolution digital images and printed with archival quality inks provides a lamp shade discount oil paintings constructed in accordance with the present invention. The Giclee printing is onto a canvas which has been appropriately treated to receive the archival quality ink and to reproduce the image in high resolution. Giclee printing is typically accomplished using professional 8 color to 12 color ink jet printers.

Introduced line of products

A recently introduced line of products for oil paintings chemically removing paint contain no organic solvents. These products are comprised principally of a combination of caustic compounds, such as calcium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, and sodium hydroxide.

Such compounds are in a water base and hand-painted oil painting generally form a paste. These products are applied to the painted material, and then allowed to dry for time periods as high as 48 hours. It is recommended by products of this type that the applied coating be covered with a polyethylene sheeting to retard drying and increase activity time.

After drying is completed, a crusty cheap oil paintings residue, formed during drying, is scraped off laboriously. Thereafter, the substrate must be neutralized with an acid using precautionary procedures to prevent run-off from entering ground waters.

Coordinated movement of the shield

While painting walls, ceilings oil paintings, moldings, etc. it is frequently necessary to paint a straight edge between two abutting surfaces, such as an edge between two walls, one wall and a ceiling, or between a trim molding and a wall. Since this is difficult to do freehand, even by the most experienced painter, various devices have been developed to enable a painter to easily paint a straight line along an edge.

Painter's tape having a width of one inch or more is typically applied on the surface which is not to be painted. While the hand-painted oil painting tape will keep paint from being applied to the surface which is not to be painted, the application of the tape to the wall or surface is time consuming, difficult to apply evenly in a straight line along the edge, and difficult to prevent the seepage of paint beneath the edge of the tape onto the surface which is not to be painted.

Shields in the form of a thin plastic cheap oil paintings member have also been slid along the edge as a barrier to keep paint from a paint brush on one side of the shield and off of the adjoining surface which is not to be painted. However, the use of such shields with a paint brush require two hands and a simultaneous coordinated movement of the shield and paint brush along an edge. This is difficult to do by inexperienced painters. Further, even for an experienced painter, the simultaneous movement of the paint brush and shield is difficult in certain conditions, such as along the edge of a ceiling, in narrow spaces, etc.

Paint therefrom

Specifically, the present invention provides an aqueous solution for treating materials, such as wood, metal, masonry, brick, and composition oil paintings board, which have been covered with lead based paint, to remove the paint therefrom. Briefly stated, the solution comprises a solvent that does not dissolve the paint and is compatible with water;

A film former for retarding evaporation; a viscosity builder hand-painted oil painting to prevent slumping during application of the solution to vertical and overhead horizontal surfaces; and an alkaline compound for reacting with pigment containing portions of the paint to loosen any crusted lead compounds, or other pigments, present on the surface thereof. Such crusted lead compounds oftentimes remain on the surface of aged paint following erosion of the original vehicle by oxidation and weathering.

It has been discovered that problems heretofore cheap oil paintings encountered with solvents conventionally used in paint removers are overcome by use of a low volatile, relatively safe solvent, together with additional ingredients, as described hereinafter. One such solvent is known to be a coalescent or solvent in acrylic latex paint, but is not known to be a solvent for the vehicles used in oil-based paints. That solvent is ethylene glycol monobutyl ether.

Keyed paint container holder

A keyed paint container holder for paint mixers having a pivoting interlock key movable with respect to a paint container Other problems landscape oil paintings associated with paint delivery and application systems of the type described herein, particularly for mass production applications, including automotive applications, generally relate to the precise metering of liquid coating or paint applied to the part because of differences in the temperature and viscosity of the liquid coating and different parts may be painted in the same line. Where paint canisters are utilized, it would also be desirable to use a nonconductive cylinder which does not expand or contract under varying conditions. In certain applications, for example, it would be desirable to provide an excess of available paint to compensate for variations in temperature and viscosity and return the excess paint to the color changer.

The paint delivery and application systems and methods of this invention solve the above-identified problems, including reduced cycle time discount oil paintings, automatic switching of paint and rapid flushing of the paint applicator between applications and electrically isolates the color changer from the applicator permitting use of electrically conductive paint, including but not limited to water based paints. The paint delivery and application systems of this invention also eliminates waste of paint. The paint delivery and application systems and method of this invention is also easily adapted for robotic paint application systems using a rotary atomizer and applying electrically conductive paint.receptacle of the holder for orienting a rectangular footprint paint container to have a handle of the paint container in a corner of the holder adjacent the interlock key.

The interlock key has first and second portions abstract oil painting and is pivotable with respect to the holder to at least first and second positions and, optionally, to a third position. The holder accepts a cylindrical paint container as an alternative to the rectangular footprint paint container.

Formed of plastic

In one embodiment of the method, the insert is a screw which is reversibly advanced into the tip to lock it into the ferrule. Such an embodiment may be part of a kit, for example, in which a variety of artist's oil paintings tools can be prepared using a standardized ferrule and handle in conjunction with an array of tips which vary in shape, the size of the paint contacting portion, and/or the hardness. If the attachment of the ferrule to the handle is reversible, for example a threaded attachment, then the artist may exchange tips as desired. If the attachment of the ferrule to handle is permanent, savings in production expense result yet a high quality device may still be produced.

In another preferred embodiment hand-painted oil painting of the method, the handle and insert are integral. Preferably, the handle and integral insert in such an embodiment are formed of plastic. In this embodiment, the installation of the insert into the tip occurs in conjunction with the attachment of the ferrule to the distal end of the handle. Specifically, placement of the ferrule onto the handle occurs simultaneously with installation of the insert.

Crimping of a metal ferrule onto the handle cheap oil paintings may then occur. If the insert and the optional insert cavity include flutes, undesirable rotation is particularly avoided in the resulting device. Four flutes are a particularly preferred embodiment in such a method. One or more barbs also may be included to better resist extraction in a permanent attachment of the ferrule to the handle. In yet another version of this method, the tip may have the integral insert of a handle inserted first and the rigid ferrule installed subsequently.

Splashing Colors

Flowing Colors, also oil paintings called Splashing Colors, is an innovating, unique oil painting method. It is difficult to confine oils in water to construct the desired shapes. Many artists had attempted to take command of free flowing oil, but could not control oil paints to the point where an image was formed with precision.

They could only make hand-painted oil painting but not object paintings with shapes or details. The Flowing Colors method accomplishes this. The method daringly fuses painting oil and water, using water to control the colorful painting oils, flowing the two resisting elements onto wet paper/canvas.

The oil and water are mixed yet repelled each other, separated yet commingled together, opposed yet supported each other. The subsequent effect is the ability to form accurate images plus desired colorful dynamics, to express the powerful depiction of high mountains, flying clouds, rolling water, soaring tidal waves, and precise figures cheap oil paintings. The marriage of water and oil, an unthinkable combination, brings images rich in color, vibrant in lights, sophisticated in fullness and emptiness, and an abstract yet classic form of painting.

Paint circulation systems

As viscosity changes the quality of the animal oil paintings applied paint will change, and to provide optimum results a variety of paint characteristics need to be known which are not available with conventional paint circulation systems.Yet another object of the invention is to provide a paint circulation system employing a circulation pump wherein makeup paint is injected into the circulation system by a positive displacement pump driven by a signal analyzing electric motor which provides outputs pertaining to paint volume being utilized, paint viscosity and bearing wear characteristics of the circulating pump.

Paint circulation systems are basically "closed" wherein the paint circulates in a loop, and it is necessary to add paint to the loop to replace that ejected from the nozzles. The circlation of the paint is at a high rate and the paint will be cycled many times if usage is low. Problems have been experienced with existing paint abstract oil paintings circulation systems with respect to paint particles settling within the network conduits, and degradation of the paint occurs during extended circulation, including the degradation of metallic flakes and the like which may be added to the paint for aesthetic purposes. Additionally, existing paint circulation systems do not permit a ready indication of the volume of paint being used, nor indicate the viscosity of the paint.

Yet an additional object of the invention is to landscape oil paintings provide a circulating paint system having a plurality of dead-end drops wherein an oscillating reservoir is employed at the terminating end of the dead-end drop sensitive to pressure fluctuations within the circulating system to vary its volume and serve as a surge suppressor and thereby produce an oscillating paint movement within the dead-end drop to provide sufficient agitation to minimize the settling of paint particles.

Speed of operation of the roller

With the arrangement of thelandscape oil paintings it is possible to apply paint at a uniform rate and with much less effort then heretofore. It is not necessary to replenish the paint supply to the roller since the pump in the support means for the roller supplies the paint under a predetermined pressure at all times. In addition it is not necessary to press the roller so that it rotates on the surface receiving the application but a drive motor is advantageously provided to move the roller in a smooth operational rate.

In accordance with another embodiment of the invention the paint is actually contained in the handle of the support for the roller and in such cheap oil painting an embodiment the paint is poured into one end of the holder when a cap or cover is removed and it remains in this position during operation. The pump contained in the handle has a suction which extends into the reservoir and the paint is supplied to the roller at a controlled pressure amount.

Control of the flow of the paint may advantageously be effected by varying the amount of paint which is returned from the surface of the roller or by varying the speed of the motor driving the pump which supplies the paint to the roller. Similarly abstract oil painting the speed of operation of the roller may be changed as desired during operation in order to vary the amount of paint which is deposited on the surface during a movement of the roller over the surface.

The liquid paint material

A finger painting apparatus includes a housing secured to the backhand portion of a user's hand by a flexible attachment strap. The housing supports a plurality of inverted paint bottles coupled to a corresponding plurality of flexible tubes hand-painted oil painting at one end thereof.

The remaining ends of the flexible tubes are coupled to a plurality of pad housings secured to the user's finger tips and supporting a corresponding plurality of porous painting pads on the undersurfaces thereof oil paintings.

The liquid paint material or the like within the inverted paint cheap oil paintings bottles is caused to flow from the paint bottles through the tubes to the pad housings and thereafter to the porous pads to provide finger painting operation.

The faucet or spigot

The faucet or spigot is then turned on to wash the roller cover and pad. Water then enters the liquid manifold adjacent to the body of cheap oil paintings the cover. As water pressure builds within the liquid manifold, jets of water exit the plurality of holes in the liquid manifold tubular section creating a curtain of water that impacts generally tangentially against the roller pad causing the roller pad to spin, exposing all parts of the roller pad and interior of the painting splatter and rinse splatter shields to the curtain of water.

The jets of water exit at an angle relative to the liquid manifold such that the various sized roller pads will spin when impacted. Centrifugal abstract oil paintings force resulting from the spinning, in conjunction with the force of the water curtain, forces the paint off of the roller pad and paint splatter shield. The rinse splatter shield contains the splatters resulting from the paint being forced off the paint roller by the curtain of water and centrifugal force.

The liquid drainage gap between animal oil paintings the back edge of the paint splatter shield and the leading edge of the rinse splatter shield allows the rinse solution to drain from the splatter shields and roller pad. Once the paint roller pad and roller are sufficiently clean of paint, the spigot or faucet is turned off, and the hose is removed from the liquid manifold. The rinse splatter shield is then rotated back to its stored position.

Temperature drying types

Booth water is pooled at the bottom of the water-based paint application booth in the water-based paint recycling method of the present invention. There are no particular restrictions on the above-mentioned booth water, but examples include the liquid used to dilute the water-based paint being used, industrial water, city water, and the filtrate obtained by the water-based paint recycling method of the present invention. From the standpoint of the effect of the present invention, however, the liquid used to dilute oil paintings the water-based paint being used, and the filtrate obtained by the water-based paint recycling method of the present invention are preferred.

The above-mentioned liquid used to dilute the water-based paint can be any one that is well known to persons skilled in the art, as dictated by the water-based paint being used. Examples include deionized water alone and deionized water containing a water-soluble organic solvent. There are no particular restrictions on the above-mentioned cheap oil paintings water-based paint, which can be any one that is well known to persons skilled in the art, but examples include thermosetting types, normal temperature curing types, and normal temperature drying types.

From the standpoint of preventing the fouling of the walls inside abstract oil paintings the booth, it is preferable if part of the above-mentioned booth water runs down along the inner walls of the above-mentioned water-based paint application booth, forming a so-called “water curtain.” This water curtain preferably flows into the booth water pooled at the bottom of the water-based paint application booth.

A method for formulating paint

A method for formulating paint is disclosed. The method includes providing a plurality of color coordinates of paints formed from a plurality of formulations and providing durability data related to the paints. Thereafter, the color coordinates, the cheap oil paintings formulations and the durability data are correlated to assist in forming paints of acceptable durability.

A computer implemented method for determining a paint formulation for producing a paint characterized by desired color coordinates in a three-dimensional color space and desired durability characteristics from a set of known constituents hand-painted oil painting, said method comprising: providing a plurality of color coordinates, each of the color coordinates corresponding to paint formulations having respective diverse apportionments of the known constituents;

Providing durability data related to durability oil paintings characteristics exhibited by the paint formulations having the respective diverse apportionments of the known constituents; performing regression analysis of the color coordinates and the diverse apportionments of the known constituents to establish a set of equations relating first variables corresponding to the known constituents and second variables corresponding to the color coordinates

Longitudinal axis

A protective sheet positioned between the paint brush holder and the first end portion of the rod, wherein the protective sheet is operable between a stored position and a deployed position; a handle surrounding the rod, wherein the handle moves the protective sheet into the deployed position upon displacement of the same along the longitudinal axis toward the second end portion of the rod; and a retaining ring positioned about the first end portion of the rod, wherein the retaining ring precludes the handle from oil paintings sliding off of the rod.

The cleaning of paint brushes saturated with paint has always presented considerable difficulties. Paint often sticks to the bristles of hand-painted oil painting the brush and is difficult to remove. In addition, removing paint from saturated brushes often causes paint to splatter, thereby staining the clothes or skin of users and/or surrounding areas. Splattering is particularly problematic and potentially painful when paint contacts the eyes of the user. Various attempts have been made to combat this problem. Common cleaning devices are manually operated and do not always protect users from flying paint. Thus, not only do users need to expend energy clearing paint from saturated brushes, they are also exposed directly to paint and the chemicals found in paint.

There is a need, therefore, for a paint brush cleaning apparatus cheap oil paintings that resolves one or more of the foregoing difficulties. These and other aspects of the present invention will become apparent in light of the present specification, claims, and drawings.

Finished colour

According to a first aspect the present invention there is provided a composition comprising a paint and a secondary dye, the secondary dye being a first colour in a liquid phase with the paint and a second colour in a dry phase with the paint.

The addition of the secondary dye into the paint composition allows for obvious visual examination cheap oil paintings on whether or not a paint coat is being evenly applied even as a top coat over a lower coat which is of the same colour as the dried composition. When the secondary dye changes to another colour in the dried phase, the composition will then be in a finished colour which of course would have to be the desired paint colour.

The secondary dye will often oil paintings be substantially colourless or white when in said dried phase, thus allowing the paint to provide the finished colour.

The secondary dye will normally be an additive hand-painted oil painting to a base paint which base paint can be prepared by normal methods. Alternatively, the basic paint could be modified such that one of the components of the base paint becomes the secondary dye and this modified component looses its colour as the paint dries. For example, that part of the alkyd monomer dispersed in the paint is coloured and becomes transparent upon polymerisation.

Solvent-containing paint

The aforementioned objects can be achieved by the practice of our novel invention in which both the solvent-containing paint and the object to be painted oil paintings are heated prior to the painting process.

In the practice of our novel invention, the solvent-containing paint of either a water-based paint or an organic solvent-based paint, is first heated hand-painted oil painting to a temperature in the range of 80°-115° F. depending upon the nature of the paint. For water-based paint, a higher temperature is desired. For organic solvent-based paint, higher temperatures should be avoided to prevent the excessive vaporization of the solvent. We have also found that certain paint containing zinc and chrome is especially suited for this purpose.

The objects to be painted also heated to a temperature cheap oil paintings between 110°-160° F. depending upon the nature of the material of the object. For objects made of materials that are not heat-endurant, such as plastics, the higher temperatures should be avoided to prevent the deformation of the objects.

Painting operation

Accordingly, the arrangement of painting robots in the manner stated in the introduction is characterized in that each reference point is arranged above an imaginary horizontal plane which is determined by the vertically highest point of a predefined paint object in the painting position, and in that the reference points are mutually offset oil paintings in the vertical direction and/or horizontally, transversely to the vertical plane.

As the predefined object, an object which is to be painted in cheap oil paintings the prescribed manner should preferably be chosen, which object has the largest dimensions, in particular in the vertical direction, which can be expected within the painting booth concerned during painting operation with the painting robot arrangement according to the invention. In the selection of the object, the painting position thereof should likewise be taken into account.

If a plurality of paint objects, for instance bumpers, are arranged in accordance with the painting exercise on a common holding apparatus, the vertically highest object abstract oil paintings is determinant of the position of the horizontal plane. Where appropriate, an absolute limit of the vertical height of the horizontal plane is also given in the production engineering surrounds of a painting booth. For instance, an oven which is placed upstream or downstream of the painting booth in terms of the conveying system has a predefined clearance height, which limits the vertically maximally permitted height of a paint object.

Paint optimization

The present invention overcomes the problems in the prior art by providing in one embodiment a method of optimizing a painting process for applying a paint layer on an article. The method comprises defining a functional relationship between paint processing cheap oil paintings parameters and a paint layer property (i.e., the average paint layer thickness) using a neural network.

This functional relationship is then used in a paint optimization function abstract oil paintings that measures a combination of quality control parameters and paint transfer efficiency. Finally, the paint optimization function is optimized by adjusting the paint processing parameters utilizing the functional relationship formed by the neural network (“NN”).

The method of the invention is advantageously oil paintings used to establish a global model of the paint process that can be used to predict for a given combination of environmental factors such as down draft (at the bell zone and reciprocator zone), air temperature, and air humidity, and average fluid flow rate the average film thickness on a particular surface of the vehicle body. This prediction is further used to calculate the optimal average fluid flow rates for the left, vertical and horizontal bells, and the optimal down drafts in the bell and reciprocator zones. Accordingly, the methods of the invention can be used to predict the impact of different combinations of process parameters on the final film thickness.
